Now a duo, the post-rock band has built this "exil" (french word for exile) as a parenthesis in its discography. Separated by 6 thousands of miles, our two protagonists wanted in this new project to combine music titles, photographs and texts, all inspired by the theme of exile.

Imagined as a musical range of about thirty minutes from melodies on electric guitar, the compositions were then developed by harmonies of piano, organ and synthesizer. Divided into six tracks mixing mathematics and nervous parts, all accompanied by rhythmic patterns declining to infinity the constant tempo.

One finds in this new project the constant attention to the creation of a ubiquitous background that convenes here sound effects and dialogue from old SF movies.

This project would not be complete without the booklet containing photographs, texts and collages which are intended to illustrate this voluntary exile, inhabited by combining visions of abandoned cities and nature, where the last traces of man fade away.

Dorénavant en duo, le groupe post-rock a construit cet "exil" comme une parenthèse dans sa discographie. Distants d'une dizaine de milliers de kilomètres, nos deux protagonistes ont voulu dans ce nouveau projet associer titres musicaux, photographies et textes, tous inspirées du thème central de l’exil.

Imaginées comme une plage musicale d'une trentaine de minutes déclinée à partir de mélodies à la guitare électrique, les compositions ont ensuite pris le large, brodant en harmonies de piano, orgues et synthétiseurs les riffs de départ. Divisée en 6 parties, la bande son d’exil mêle patterns quasi mathématiques et envolées survoltées, le tout accompagné de rythmiques déclinant à l'infini un tempo voulu unique.

On retrouve dans ce nouvel opus l'attention constante de huge pour la constitution d’un arrière-plan sonore omniprésent, convoquant ici effets sonores et dialogues de vieux films SF.

Ce projet ne serait pas complet sans son livret regroupant photographies, textes et collages qui se veulent l'illustration de cet exil volontaire, habité de visions mêlant cités abandonnées et nature où s'estompent les traces de l'Homme.
